El Boy Die has been paving a new and unique path for psychedelic folk music for the past few years and his debut full-length album “Black Hawk Ladies & Tambourins” casts a shadowy cloud of arcane beauty. A native of France, he’s embarked on an ambitious career that’s taken him throughout Europe and North America. Through his vagabond attitude and DIY approach, he’s been able to shape a distinctive and cinematic sound palette that draws from medieval ambience, tribal chanting and ethereal instrumentation that deviates from the modern framework of folk.
The album features guest members of Herman Dune, Zombie Zombie & Valleys and hits the streets in May 17th, 2010 in Europe and September 7th, 2010 in North America.
