Two Pas Chic Chic shows

While the triumphant reviews of Pas Chic Chic's "Au Contraire" keep coming in, the band has added two more live dates.
They will be in Quebec City on Friday May 2 at Le Cercle, and return to Toronto on Saturday May 3 at the Whipper Snapper Gallery as part of the Pop Montreal Party at the Over The Top Festival. You can find out more details on the festival at the Over The Top site.

Pas Chic Chic are live in Toronto, On this Thursday April 10 at the Drake Hotel in celebration of the release of Au Contraire!
Doors are at 8PM and is in conjunction with the opening night of The Drake Hotel's Franco Fest.

Semprini Records is proud to announce the signing of Montreal's Pas Chic Chic. The band features former members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Fly Pan Am, Cursed and Set Fire To Flames. Their fractured, francophone pop brings to mind rhythms, melodies and approaches associated with shoegaze, psychedlia and tropicalia. Their long awaited debut album "Au Contraire" will be released on vinyl, CD and download format on April 1st, 2008. The first single "Haydée Morcelée" will only be released on 7" vinyl and download format in March with an exclusive non-album track. Pas Chic Chic Record Launch

Pas Chic Chic launches the album "Au Contraire" on April 2nd at the Lion D'Or (1676 Ontario E.) in Montreal with a full live show and special guests Les Momies De Palerme. Doors at 8pm and tickets are $12. Limited amount of advance tickets will be available as of tonight or tomorrow at L'Oblique, Atom Heart Cheap Thrills, and Phonopolis. The rest will be available at the door.
The Toronto launch will be held at the Drake Hotel (150 Queen St. W.) on April 10th.
Call Me Poupée show

Call Me Poupée play at Montreal's Theatre Plaza at 6505 St. Hubert on March 22nd for the launch of the boutique Belle et Rebelle. They're currently working on the pre-production for their second album to be released in September 2008.
